The 2025 China-ASEAN E-sports Industry Week was held Sept. 17-19 in Nanning, south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
As part of the industry week, professional players from China and 10 ASEAN countries competed at the 2025 China-ASEAN E-sports Competition.
A concurrent animation and gaming expo offered interactive activities with cosplayers and experiences of intangible cultural heritage, promoting deeper integration of e-sports with culture and tourism.
The China-ASEAN E-sports Industry Week, a flagship event at the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo, targeted three areas: linking competitive gaming with industry growth, using AI in e-sports, and boosting development across the sector.
