China on Wednesday said it welcomed a decision by Honduras to establish diplomatic ties with China.
"On the basis of the One-China principle, China is willing to develop friendly and cooperative relations with Honduras and other countries in the world," foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said, adding: "We welcome the relevant statement by the Honduran side."
