医学：山梨糖醇：CH2OH，(CHOH)4CH2OH，为六氢醇结晶，首次发现于欧洲花楸(Sorbus aucuparia)的成熟浆果，在其它浆果如樱桃、李、梨等果实中也发现少量，在哺乳类动物可由葡萄糖形成然后转化成果糖；精液内的果糖即由这种过程形成。它也见于糖尿病的浑浊晶状体内。通过葡萄糖或某些其他糖的催化性氢化可得到此药物制剂，含有91～100.6％山梨糖醇(按无水基质计算)，在制药中用作甜味剂和片剂的赋形剂，其50％溶液用作静脉滴注的渗透利尿剂；
